The Surefire Tactician efficiently manages the issue when used as an everyday carry light or even a weapon light. The Tactician offers dual-output LED utilizing Surefire's MaxVision Beam® reflector to create a light wall that efficiently illuminates the entire area in front, behind, and on both sides of you.

With a quick clockwise tightening of the Tactician's front bezel, this light will deliver a maximum beam of 800 lumens when a tactical situation requires it. When rotated in the opposite direction, you can reduce the output of the Tactician to a minimum of 5 lumens to provide sufficient light but for longer run times. With either maximum or low-output settings, a simple tap of the endcap allows momentary activation of each output. When the situation requires a constant-on, a simple twist of the tailcap will keep the Tactician active and continue to brighten things up.
